William Casey

William J. Casey is an associate attorney in the law firm of Goldstein, Ackerhalt & Pletcher, LLP. Mr. Casey is involved in all areas of the law firm’s practice. He earned his Juris Doctor degree in 2007 from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan, graduating in the top 8% of his class. As a Senior Associate Editor of the law school’s Law Review, Mr. Casey was awarded the John D. Voelker Award, which is awarded to the Associate Editors who were deemed to have contributed the most to the Law Review.
Besides serving as an Associate Editor on Law Review while in law school, Mr. Casey also served as Vice-President of the St. Thomas More Society, and was a member of the Mock Trial Board.
Mr. Casey is a contributor to the legal treatise: Legal Rights of Persons with Disabilities: An Analysis of Federal Law. He is also a member of the Erie County Bar Association and is admitted to the New York State Bar and the United States District Court for the Western District of New York.
